The Space Development Lab is headed by Prof. Bernard Foing.
The mission statement includes, at least:
- to investigate the current status of the art of the Science & Technology that enable the civilian space development, allowing humans to live, work, make business and settle in the outer space;
- to develop feasibility studies on such enabling technologies;
- to seek for partnerships with agencies, universities, research institutes;
- to lobby and promote higher priority on such enabling technologies;
- to investigate space law and space policies, with the aim to boost the kick-off of civilian space development
The organizational model foresees several committees, having the objective to implement the Final Resolution of the 3rd SRI World Congress.
